help

i own my home ,am 66 year old widow .i get a pention ,this will run out soon ,i can no longer afford ,to make car payments ,don t know what to do ,after this year my monthy income will only be about 800.00 a month what can i do ? will i louse my home if i go bankrupt? please advize

It is difficult to provide much direction with such little information. So what I would recommend is for you to contact a local trustee.
The problem is that if your income goes down I may advise you to return the care and do nothing as there is no action your creditors can take to force you to make any payments. However, the presence of the house complicates things. The answer will depend in part on the value of the house and the amount of anything owing against the house. So you are best to discuss this directly with the trustee.
