Family members assets
If I go bankrupt what happens to my adult daughter’s assets? I am divorced and she stays on/off at my place. She is 19 years old and takes care of her own expenses. Her mother, who lives in another province has provided some money to her in the past. Daughter has 2 cars worth 8000 dollars. Would these be included in my bankruptcy?

As long as the property is not registered to you and you can clearly trace that the money to purchase those vehicles (and any other property that she owns) came from her and not you, then you filing a bankruptcy shouldn’t have any impact on her or her assets.
