I have a car loan and I am wondering if I will be able to keep my car after filing for bankruptcy?

A licensed trustee said...

As long as you continue to make your car loan payments you should be able to keep your car. This applies to any secured debt: cars, trucks, snow mobiles, etc, etc. If you want to keep whatever you pledged as security for the loan then you have to keep paying the loan.
