Child tax refund from before we filed bankruptcy

Hi, We filed for bankruptcy about 6 months ago. We have about 18 months to go before we are discharged. Our Trustee’s accountant did all of our back taxes, business and personal, from 2006 to 2009. During those 3 years we didn’t receive any child tax benefits because we didn’t have our taxes done. Now I have received a cheque for a huge lump sum from the back payment of the child tax benefits. How will this affect our bankruptcy payments? Will we owe any of that to the trustee? You mentioned somewhere that it would be considered income, how do we adjust that on our monthly expense reports?
