Regarding Vehicle

Who determines what your vehicle is worth? The kelly blue book says $4,000. is that good enough as I know that a lot would take off another 30%!

Most trustees require some form of appraisal on any vehicle that might be worth more than the provincicla exemption for vehicles in your province. I realize it is inconvenient, but as you noted, the real value is likely less than the blue Book value so this practice works in yiour favour.

Ask the trustee that you are dealing with what they require – it can vary depending on the age of the vehicle.
