Buying a car while bankrupt

Assuming I lived very frugally and could put some money aside during the bankruptcy period, would I be allowed to purchase (and keep) a used car while bankrupt?

As long as you are keeping up with your duties in a bankruptcy and you don’t spend more than the allowable exemption limit in your province then you normally won’t have any issues with purchasing a vehicle while bankrupt.
