My son is going to claim bankrupcy. My mom has an account in his name – she owns the account and he does not have any access to it. Will bankrupcy take that money?

This is going to depend on how the account has been set up and how much money is in that account. Likely it is something that will be lost in a bankruptcy but you are best to meet with a local trustee who will investigate this a little further and then be able to explain how it will be treated and why.
