Exempt Property

I have 2 computers in my home, both are under the allowed limit .. in fact one is from 2002 and only worth 200 dollars now and the other is from 2004 and only worth 300 or so now, i have been told where they are not essential i may end up loosing them … but all my property including the computers is worth less then the 6,500 dollar limit so i am not sure.

You will have to discuss this with a local trustee as the exemptions vary with the province and the trustee has a little discretion in determine whether or not certain property falls within the exemption categories.
