I have a student loan..

I have a student loans that I have had since 2004 november. Is it true that after you have had it for 7 years you can claim it and get rid of it on your bankruptcy?

You need to find out what your “End of Study” date was – this is the date from which the 7 year clock starts ticking. Contact the National Student Loan Centre and ask them what your EoS date is – add 7 years and that’s when your student laons may be discharged (dealt with) by filing for bankruptcy.
