7 year rule

I have been out of school for longer than 7 years. I want to take some high school upgrading courses. Will this set the clock back to zero regarding the 7 year bankruptsy rule?

High school upgrading should not have any impact on your “end of study date” for post secondary studies. The end of study date is the critical event for including a student loan in bankruptcy. 7 ytears must have elapsed in order for studnet loans to be discharged by bankrutpcy or a proposal.
