Definition of Return to School

Hi there. I finished all of my Masters courses years ago. Never defended my thesis. To do so. I would be registered for one week, yet not attend any class. Only a defense. Would this one week affect the date of bankruptcy for student loans?

This would be considered attendance at school and would re-set the clock on the 7 year student loans rule.
