The options to stop the harassment are as follows:
1. Make payment arrangements directly with the creditor;
2. Obtain a consolidation loan and pay out all of the student loans;
3. Look into a debt management plan through a non-profit credit counseling agency;
4. File a consumer proposal (assuming you have been out of school for greater than 7 years) with a trustee to settle the debt in a court sanctioned manner;
5. File for bankruptcy (again, assuming you have been out of school for greater than 7 years).

These are the ways you can get the harassment stopped.
