Can I get Student loan after bankrupty??

Hi:
I discharged in July 2008 and pay back student loan to the governments now(both ontario and canada..because they r not over 10 years)
I am planning to go back to school Next Sept 2009…Any problem getting OSAP from the government?? thanks.

You would have to check with OSAP. They have very specific lending criteria and will look at current payment history on existing student loans, what program you are applying to and whether it is a continuation of the old program or a new unrelated program. So I would suggest you contact OSAP directly and they will be better able to advise you.
