Is my student loan retro-active?

I filed bankruptcy in Sept 2007 and was discharged June 2008. It has been 7 years since I have been out of school as of June 2008. My question is can I get my student loan included in that bankruptcy?

In order for the student loan to be discharge you must have been out of school for 7 years or more as of the date you filed bankruptcy. Therefore in your situation the new rules won’t really apply to you.
