I am considering bankruptcy…do you have any suggestions?

I have been separated for 8 months and have moved out of the family home with our children the day we separated. For that eight months I have been the one paying the mortgage, house insurance and taxes amoungst other things. As i said I am not even living in the home. I have a fairly new vehicle that is in my name I need to have a vehicle to get to work and the kids to school. I cannot continue to pay all of these things for the house and raise my children somewhere else. I am considering bankruptcy as every month I am going deeper and deeper in dept. I don’t want the family home and at this point i don’t even think he is living in it, it sits empty. Do you have any suggestions for someone in my situation?

You should be contacting a family law lawyer to discuss marital property. Spousal support, child support, and the division of marital assets are only three of the areas that you should get clarification.
