HI.I WAS WONDERING IF YOU COULD HELP ME.I AM A HUNTER AND I HAVE A OUPLE OF HUNTING RIFLES .FI A GO BANKRUPCY WILL I LOSE MY RIFLES ?CAN I KEEP THEM ?WHAT WILL HAPPEN OR WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH THEM?THANK YOU.ALL THE BEST

You are allowed to keep “personal effects” worth a total value of $5,650. Your rifles could be considered “personal effects” so the only question is, what are the rifles and everything else you might classify as “personal effects” worth? Personal effects usually includes clothing, jewelry, sports equipment, etc, etc.

This is definitely something to discuss with your trustee BEFORE you file.
