We live in our daughters house and pay her $650 a month towards her mortgage. However, she does not live here, she lives with her boyfriend. She claims this house as her principle resident on income tax. If we claim bankruptcy, how does this affect us and her?

I don’t see this as any kind of issue for your bankruptcy – just make certain you discuss your living arrangements with your trustee BEFORE you file. In that way, if your trustee has any concerns, you may discuss them before you are committed to a course of action. Surprises in bankruptcy are almost always a bad thing – better to know what is going to happen before it happens.
