2nd Time Bankrupt?
March 21st, 2013 by Questions
I had (and completed) a consumer proposal in 1995. After becoming disabled, I am now considered bankruptcy. Will I be considered a first-time bankrupt, or will I be a second-time bankrupt due to the previous consumer proposal?

If you perform all of your ditiues properly and no one opposes your dsicharge then you will be treated as a “first time bankrpotcy filer”. If you end up in Court for some reason, the Court may treat you as a second time filer due to your previous proposal.
So, if you decide to file, do everything properly so you don’t end up in Court…
