end of study date

January 30th, 2013 by Questions

I called student loans the other day to confirm my end of study date. The date they gave me reflected the end of study date for my program, however I returned a year after to take 2 courses that I had previously wanted to take. So when is my actual end of study date; the date on file, or a year later after the extra courses I took? And will student loans check with my school to see if I returned since my end of study date?

The only date that matters is the one the National Student Loan Centre has on file, BUT theres nothing that says they can’t re-assess your end of study date whenever they want.
Frustrating? You bet. The best you can do is ask for the date in writing before you file.
