Car and Bankruptcy
October 30th, 2012 by Questions
I am weighing my options between credit proposal and bankruptcy.
The place I have worked at for the last 6+ years coninues to hit me with short layoffs and the common law wife is presently unable to work, due to that and yes a few finacial bad choices our bills are piling up and we never seem to get caught up let alone ahead.
Anyways my question is we have a 09 car that we have been making payments on for just over a year (never missed a payment) and if I go the bankruptcy route is there any way of keeping the car as i need a reliable way to get to work as I work in another city and work shift work

In either a bankruptcy
or a consumer proposal as long as you are currently up to date with the vehicle payments, can afford to make the payments on the vehicle and the cost of your bankruptcy / proposal, then you won’t have any trouble.
