2nd bankruptcy

My wife declared her first bankruptcy in 1987 and discharged in 1988, she declarded a second bankruptcy in 2000 and discharded in Dec of 2002. does this mean she has the second on ber credit bereau for 14 years? There was more than 6 years from the first one that should have been purged.

You are correct, the credit bureau stipulates that a second bankruptcy will stay on your credit history for a maximum of 14 years from the date you are discharged.
