House loan

I bought a property (house) in another country but I borrowed the money from a credit union in Canada. If I apply for bankruptcy, would I lose the house that I bought ?

A licensed trustee said...

Probably the house will have to be sold to pay down your Canadian debt. This is something to discuss with your trustee BEFORE you decide to file.
