Normally we delete this type of question because if you have already filed for bankruptcy then you should be asking your trustee these questions – it is one of the things they are being paid to do.

Once you file you aren’t likely to have any further correspondence with your creditors – they will deal directly with your trustee. Bankruptcies are automatically “accepted” – everyone in Canada has the right to file. The real question is whether or not any of your creditors want the Court to review your bankruptcy (instead of leaving it to your trustee). The Court reviews bankruptcies when you fail to complete all of your required duties or if there are suggestions that perhaps your conduct before filing was “questionable”. Call your trustee if you’d like more information.
