If you have an overdraft on your bank account, will going into bankruptcy affect it?

Yes. Your overdraft is a debt, it must be included in your bankruptcy if you are into your overdraft. But even if you are not into your overdraft, the overdraft should be removed from your account as a result of you filing for bankruptcy.
