A licensed trustee said...

You cannot file for bankruptcy in Canada without using a licenced trustee in bankruptcy.

If some one is telling you that you can file without a trustee then RUN – the best you can hope for is they are going to charge you a fee and then refer you to a trustee (whom you will have to pay). The worst case they’ll just take your money and tell you that you filed for bankruptcy, when in fact you haven’t…
