Keeping an apartment

I pay $770 for my apartment without utilities. It’s just me and my fiancee with no kids or pets. Can I keep living here or will we have to get a cheap dirty unsafe place for $500? We’re not living fancy right now anyways. I just don’t want the embarrassment of moving, I just signed a 1 year lease last month. Please Help!

You don’t have to worry about being forced to move..The goal of a bankruptcy is to help you rehabilitate your finances, not force you to live in an unhealthy environment. There is nothing in the legislation that would require anything of this nature.
