If you would have been entilted to a refund if you hadn’t filed a proposal then you should also receive the refund after you file a proposal. Tax refunds are not normally seized or offered as a payment term in consumer proposals.

In fact, many peole choose to file a proposal (as opposed to bankruptcy) because they get to keep their tax refunds. Obviously you should discuss this in detail with a trustee BEFORE you decide to file.
