What are the consequences for a person who is a practising lawyer in filing a consumer proposal?

A licensed trustee said...

To the best of my knowledge, there are no restrictions/prohibitions regarding lawyers filing a consumer proposal. Unlike bankruptcy, where you may no longer operate your own trust account, a consumer proposal has no such restrictions.

Of course, I would check with the Law Society to be sure…
