Bank loans during bankruptcy

I am in bankruptcy till march 22,2011 and I am still playing catch up with bills. Can a bankrupt take out a bank loan while still in bankruptcy?

You are permitted to legally as long as you disclose that you are an undischarged bankrupt. From a practical standpoint, you are not likely to be approved, at least not for an unsecured debt in your name only. If you have already filed for bankruptcy you should call your trustee to discuss this with them…
