About extra money

I am considering going bankrupt, I make 1,600 net a month and on the side , myself and my partner do cleaning and the master business license is in both of our names, thats another 550 a month, so they can’t take that extra money for me to pay because I have a partner? and he uses that part of the money for his bills to pay

If you do the work and own a portion of the business then techically a portion of that money should be allotted to you. If the ownership is 50 / 50 then maybe that increases your income by $275, but you need to consult with a local trustee and they will help you to determine this.
