Worried

I filed for bankruptcy aprox 7 years ago, I paid the trustee the first 400$ and still owed 1200$ I was younger when this happen and it eventually slipped my mind, I would like to fix the problem but am kind of scared of the consequences? what will happen?

A licensed trustee said...

Call the trustee that handled the bankruptcy and ask them what you need to do in order to complete the procedure. You can hire a lawyer if you don’t want to speak directly to the trustee, but you’ll end up paying both the lawyer and the trustee if you do…

This happens more often that it should – say one oout of every hundred people that file don’t complete the process. You will be penalized for not doing tihngs properly, but you are not the first person to do this, it can be sorted out.
