Snitching on a bankrupt

September 10th, 2010 by Questions

I know of someone that is currently going through the bankruptcy process. He`s doing really well until his payments stop going to the trustee. Now I`ve been bankrupt twice and since then I have learned a valueable lesson and now I`m trying to tell them to go to a TRUSTEE and they can tell you what is the better option for each case is different. Anyways here`s my question. This person I know is defaulting on payments to the trustee and making money on the side. Can I tell the trustee in a anonymous way what is going on without being dragged into this mess? It`s for this person own good. He`s a friend and in a financial mess.

If you want to try and stay out of this, contact the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy (instead of the trustee) and tell them your concerns. They may simply call the trustee or they may ask you to put your concerns in writing before thye proceed – it will depend on the nature of your concerns.
