When you file for bankruptcy you give your trustee access to any/all of your financial transactions while you remain in bankruptcy (andf any that occurred before you filed). This is part of the process – your trustee has the right (in fact they are required) to investigate any financial transactions that might be questionable – for most people this never happens, but in some cases when people have deliberately increased their debt just before filing (or for people trying to hide income or assets from their trustee during bankruptcy) these types of inverstigations are necessary.
If you are an honest, but unfortuante debtor you should have nothing to worry about. If you are trying to hide something then you shouldn’t file for bankruptcy as a trustee has the same access to your financial information that you have…
