My husband and I have 3 small children. My husband lost his job awhile ago and now we are forced to consider bankrupcty. I have been a nurse for 9 yrs. I just found a job in a nursing home as an assistant director of care. Can we still claim bankruptcy if I accpet the position?

Yes you may. You are confusing your job title with something different. If you file for bankrupotcy you may not be a director of a corporation (as in serve on the Board of Directors). Unless this job puts you on the board you may still file for bankruptcy.
