separation and debt repayment
May 13th, 2010 by Questions
My spouse and I are separating. We have approx. 65,000.00 in joint debt and a house with a mortgage of 180,000.00. It is our only asset. He would like for me to keep the house and the kids. His take home pay is $3600 a month and mine is $2600 a month. What is the best solution for us so that he will be able to buy and maintain a home.

The answer to this is going to depend on a number of factors as a result you are best to consult directly with a licensed trustee who practices out of Nova Scotia.
