how to pay it off for good

i am 5000 dollars in debt for the past 2 years i have payed it down to 2000 then i get back up again to 5000 im 28 female and i should not have a credit card what can i do

Well the only way you can “run the credit back up” is if you keep the cards. So, cut up the crads so you can’t use them again. If the debt is from a line of credit call the bank you deal with and ask them to cancel your wihdrawing rights – in that way all you can do is deposit funds against the debt.

You’re going to say “if I do this, I won’t be able to use the credit” – that’s right. If your gaol is to pay it down then the first step is to stop using it.

Most people only need a single credit card with a $500 limit. All those other cards are just temptation to spend money you haven’t earned yet… get rid of them!
