My wife`s personal belongings
March 3rd, 2010 by Questions
During the declaration of possesions, do I have to declare my wife`s personal belongings like jewelries and fur which were possesed before we got married or given to her as gifts by the relatives? If so, will those things be taken by the trustee?

I don’t have enough information to answer this question with any level of certainty. What you need to do is to discuss this with your trustee. If the items pre-date you and this can be verified you shouldn’t have any major troubles.
