Is it possible to file for bankruptcy at the first meeting with the trustee?

It definately is possible to file for bankruptcyfairly shortly after the first meeting, but you have to contact the local trustee office directly to arrange this in advance. This is important as you will likely have to either provide a completed application for to the office prior to attending, or bring a fair amount of information with you.
