child support recieved

i have outstanding amount of $ owing to me for child support.. if this money was to come in a lump sum is it also taken and split up amongst the owed creditors

Yes – the logic being that if you had received the support all along (like you were supposed to) you may have used the payments to reduce your debt, or perhaps you wouldn’t have incurred so much debt in the first place.
