What does the trustee need to have when you go for your first meeting? and why?

When you first meet with a trustee it is very helpful if you bring the following:

1. A list of who you owe and approximately how much you owe each creditor;

2. A typical monthly budget; and

3. Details of any major assets you have (i.e. house, car, investments etc.)

This will give the trustee all the informaiton they will need to properly evaluate your situation and provide the advice you are looking for.
