When I attend my first meeting with the trustee what will I need to bring? Do I need my credit report or will the trustee handle this?Lastly, I heard that it will cost me a mininum of $160.00 a month,is this true?

When you first go to meet with the local trustee you need to bring a quick list of who you owe money to, a sample monthly budget (i.e. income and monthly living expenses) and details of any major assets that you own (i.e. value of asset, presence of any loans secured against them etc.).

In terms of the minimum cost, this is set by the individual trustee’s office so can vary. But the fist meeting shouldn’t have any cost associated with it.
