surples income payments
November 27th, 2009 by Questions
Does the amount of surplus income fluctuate each month depending on your take home pay or is it a set amount that is determined at the beginning of your bankruptcy. For instance what happens if one month you take home less pay then the other months. DO you give less money that month???

It flucuates each month as your income changes. Depending on the arrangements you have made with your trustee that means your payment may change every month (some people ask for a fixed amount that gets adjusted 5 or 6 months after they start) – this is the sort of thing you should discuss in detail BEFORE you decide to file for bankruptcy.
