income tax

if I file for bankruptcy in November 2009,
i must submit my income tax return for that year to the bankruptcy. Since I will be in Bankruptcy for 21 months, am i also obligated to turn over my 2010 income tax return?

When a personal bankruptcy is filed, the only years that the taxes are lost for are teh year of the bankruptcy and any previous years. So you would loose the 2009 tax refunds, refunds for any previous year, but the 2010 taxe refund would be yours to keep.
