Do I report my christmas bonus as income during bankruptcy, if yes, could I keep it if I get it put directly into an rrsp by my work?

Yes you must report your christmas bonus as income and it is therefore subject to the surplus income guideline that is sent out by the Superintendent of Bankruptcy.

In terms of putting the funds directly into an RRSP, this would still be considered income, you would still have to report it as income and it would still be subject to the surplus income obligation.
