my son has approx $16,000.00 in legal costs that he cannot possibly pay and more expected to come , he needs to know if these legal debts fall in to a bankcruptcy categorie, as he has no possible way of paying this debt, his total annual income is approx 30,000/ yr, he has a son and common law spouse, he is presently in the middle of more legal costs due to his defense in personal legal battle
