Will I ever be discharged

I went through bankruptcy in 2000, I did not get a absolute discharged, I was unable to meet all my obligations and got a order adjourning bankrupts discharge sine die. What does this mean? Will I ever be discharged or will I stay a bankrupt person till this gets cleared up with Trustee? Will I ever be able to get credit legally if I don`t clear this up with Trustee?

Unfortunately, you will remain an undischarged bankrupt until you complete the process -you can’t even file again, you have to go and speak to the trustee that handled your file, ask them what needs to be done, do it, then return to Court to see if the Court will release you from your bankrutpcy. Depending on what remians undone, you may be able to clear this up quickly, but in most cases, it can take months to sort things out properly.

It starts with a call to your trustee to find out what it is you need to do…
