Can I get a consumer proposal after realising I made a mistake by signing up with a credit consolidation company?

You will have no trouble with filing a consumer proposal even though you have signed up with a credit consolidation company. In fact itis quite common for someone to sign up for one of these programs in hopes of being able to make the payments and then simply find out it is not as affordable as they thought.

Simply contact a local trustee and they will assist you with drawing up the necessary documents.
