fraud

if i lied on my credit card application(said i worked somewhere i didnt, making money i didn`t) and apply for bankruptcy how much trouble can i get in?

i was young and didnt think it was any harm; i mean i heard about a dog getting a credit card…

If you have any debts that relate to fraud they would fall into the category of debts that are not released by bankruptcy.

Now, in order to have fraud determined creditor in question has to apply to court for a determination that you were involved in fraud and then they must apply to the bankruptcy to get the debt to survive, so it takes a bit of work, but it is a fairly straightforward process.
