Is my Trustee allowed to negotiate with my creditors & agree to additional payments on my behalf without consulting me?

Your trustee may negotiate “until the cows come home” – it is part of the trustee’s role. Of course you are not required to accept the negotiated amount – if you prefer, a hearing will be scheduled and the Court will decide if any additional payments are required.

Go and speak to your trustee. They can explain your options and then you can decide which course makes the most sense for you.
