Debt larger than reported
April 8th, 2009 by Questions
When I gave a list of my debts to my trustee I put down $300 owing to GST when we filed 3 months ago, but it`s actually more like $8,000. Will the difference not be included in the bankruptcy?

Assuming you filed for bankruptcy this shouldn’t cause you significant difficulties as long as it was just a mistake.
If you filed a proposal to your creditors it may be considerable omission that would dramatically affect your proposal and you should discuss it directly with your trustee immediately.
